We offer confidential waste shredding service in cooperation with our trusted partner Restore Datashred. To request the service, please follow these steps:
- Order shredding bags (product code 16.797.933) on the Lyreco Webshop or by contacting our Customer Care. Bags are supplied in packs of 10.
- Fill the bags. Make sure to secure each bag with the self-seal strip or tag tie provided with the bags. Please note that our driver won't be able to collect unsecured bags for data security reasons.
- Request collection by adding product code 99.996.487 to your next order. Adjust the quantity according to the number of bags you need collected.
| Please note: The collection date is different from your order delivery date. We'll collect your bags on a separate date, which depends on how many bags you have and the space available in our vans. |
We'll provide a Waste Transfer Note on collection. The note is valid for 12 months, and we'll automatically update your existing Waste Transfer Note during future collections as needed.
Collection time
Depending on the number of bags you need to have collected, the collection times are:

For 7 bags or fewer:
If included with a regular order, collection takes place within 5 working days.
If requested without an order, collection takes place within 10 working days.
- For larger collections (more than 7 bags): These requests are handled by Restore Datashred and may take up to 4 weeks to collect.
Regular shredding collections
If your site produces large amounts of confidential waste that needs secure disposal, we can arrange regular collection services.
You'll receive free consoles for collecting waste on-site. Our partner, Restore Datashred, will then empty these consoles into GDPR compliant bins at your scheduled times and shred the waste either on-site or at their facility, depending on your preference.

Archive box shredding
Our partner Restore Datashred also collects confidential archive boxes for secure shredding. For a quote, please contact our Customer Care Team or your sales representative and specify the number of boxes, your preferred timescale, and whether pickup is from a ground-floor accessible location.
