How can I find information about Lyreco CO2 Program?

Lyreco is actively working to reduce CO2 emissions and advance sustainability throughout its operations and supply chain. A key focus is its commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which it joined in 2021. The company has set emission reduction goals aligned with the Paris Agreement to limit global warming to below 1.5°C. These targets address both Scope 1 & 2 emissions (direct and indirect energy-related emissions) and Scope 3 emissions, which include upstream transportation, product impacts, business travel, and waste.

To support these efforts, Lyreco has been measuring its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions since 2011 and has applied the international GHG Protocol since 2019. Accurate measurement enables the company to plan a clear emissions reduction roadmap and implement effective strategies.

Additionally, Lyreco has invested in energy efficiency measures across its operations, resulting in tangible reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. These initiatives reflect the company’s broader goal of integrating sustainability into every aspect of its business.

Lyreco's progress has been recognized with a Gold Medal in the 2024 EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment, where it scored 80/100. This places Lyreco at the "Advanced" level of sustainability management and among the top 5% of companies assessed globally.

Through these actions, Lyreco demonstrates its strong commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting responsible business practices across the supply chain.
