The blank display could indicate that your Nespresso Aguila machine is in maximum energy saving mode. The machine switches to this mode after 4 hours of inactivity. 

In maximum energy saving mode, the boiler heating is switched off to save energy, but to maintain the temperature of the milk, the fridge will still work. 

• To restart your machine, press the energy saving button that is located in the empty capsule drawer area.
• To activate the maximum energy saving mode, press and hold this button for 3 seconds. 

When the machine has been turned back on, it will start an automatic rinse or may require a cold start rinse. If required, please close both levers.
