The Ristretto and Lungo buttons on my Nespresso Zenius machine are flashing red

When the top left and top right lights are flashing red, you need to change the filter:

  1. Remove the existing filter from the water tank and discard.
  2. Gently clean the water tank.
  3. Remove the new filter from the packaging.
  4. Set the water hardness option accordingly.
  5. Place the new filter in the water tank and refill with water.
  6. Place an empty container for the rinse water on the drip grid.
  7. Turn off the machine.
  8. Press and hold the hot water button whilst turning on the machine.
