If your Nespresso Momento machine's heating plate is too hot or there's a melting item on it, you can deactivate the heating plate:
- On the home screen, tap settings menu
> setup menu.
Enter your access code. If you haven’t changed it during the initial machine setup, the default access code is 8888.
- Select no on the cup heater menu.
- Tap on the right arrow
to confirm.
